      To all our current members, According to official news presented by the Firefox development team, Firefox version 2.0.0.x will only be maintained with security and stability updates until mid-December, 2008. Since this is their official notice of support termination for Firefox version 2, I will be following suit. If you have not done so already, please download and install Firefox 3 some time before the end of the year. Similarly, Internet Explorer version 8 is out in beta form at the moment...

    • Site Status Is Back to Normal

      Well the Verizon tech came out today to look at the lines. After a bit of troubleshooting, it appears that we might actually be back in business. All the extra noise on the phone line is now gone completely, and we are around 40% bandwidth utilization for good connectivity. So hopefully things should be back to normal now for all those who have been having issues getting to the site.I can't wait for the day when I get enough PHP under my belt to convert all the current sites to a Unix/Linux...

    • More Updates to Site Features

      Just a few notes on some new features that are either in place now or will be shortly...The tag clouds and tags within each blog entry have now been adjusted in how they work (slightly). Searching using a tag is exactly the same. However, it is now much clearer as to what tags are in use at any given time. When a particular tag is selected, it will be highlighted within the respective tag cloud as well as within the blogs. If no entries are currently selected, the"ALL" tag will be highlighted...
