    Vacation

    Anyone else up for a little time off? I woke up this morning and heard our answering machine beeping. I was a bit surprised as I didn't hear the phone ring last night and I'm normally a very light sleeper. Exhaustion helps, I guess. Anyways, as I'm walking down the stairs I'm thinking, "Please let it be Tracy calling to say she can't take Kadie today." How pathetic is that?! Unfortunately, it wasn't Tracy and I was forced to get ready for work.

    So here I am - with no coffee as I've sworn off it again after a brief foray into caffeine-induced alertness right after we moved to Hampstead. I know it's not good for me (and I gave it up completely when I was trying to get pregnant with Kadie and never "went back") but it'd be oh so nice right about now.

    Here's to hoping I don't smash the keyboard with my forehead today....

    Good Morning!

    Funny that you should mention vacation...I took last week off, since the parents were coming, and my daycare was on vacation...gotta warn you...you work just as hard on vacation!  I thought that it would make you feel better to know that I checked the messages on my cell phone today, just hoping that my client would cancel, so that I could go back to bed.  (no such luck either)  Since we were off last week, this week has been packed full trying to make up some of the time.  Occasionally, I have to remind myself that running us around like headless chickens, doesn't quite meet the qualifications of a happy family...oh...I just realized that we have Tae Kwondo tonight too...where was that bangin' keyboard????  Love to All!  Lisa

    Take a bit of time off this weekend (those boxes will still be there when you get back!) and take Kadie to see Cars...you will all really enjoy it!  :)
