It's goin' great so far!

We had a mishap with #2 last night. Kadie still doesn't want to go poop on the big girl potty, but we've got her in big girl panties which left Mommy and Daddy with a wonderful job. We made a pretty big deal out of how gross it was and how much we didn't appreciate the clean-up, and when I asked her later what would happen the next time she needed to go poo-poo she said she would go in the toilet, so I'm hoping that was a one-time experience. Is there a smiley face I can add here that crosses it's fingers?

Other than that, she stayed completely dry all day yesterday and today, so far. She woke us up (she was pretty loud and persistent about it) this morning at 0630 and when I went in to get her, she ran straight for the bathroom. Hopefully, we're not far from getting this thing down completely. If I could only convince her that she can get up on her own and go to the bathroom without waking me up.

If we can tear Jeff away from the blogging this afternoon, I'm going to try to take Kadie down to see the movie Cars. She did a pretty good job when the folks were here and we went to see Over the Hedge. It was her first movie-going experience and she started getting restless the last 20 minutes or so of the movie, but we had also gotten there about 20 minutes before the movie started, so I'm going to try to cut the wait time down this go-around and see what happens.
