What a beautiful day today! We have today off, and are enjoying a nice, warm, but not overly warm, sunny day. (Sorry to the broiled Easterners) It is nice enough that I am just leaving the house open today, and enjoying the fresh air...that may change when Michael gets home, since he considers anything over 65 degrees too hot...then the air conditioner will have to be put on.
I got lots of chores done today...grass planted, mowed, and water all set, caught up on some house chores too, made some ice cream and finished a book...I am waiting for someone to spill orange juice, BEFORE I wash the kitchen floor. Kids are both currently sleeping, so I am enjoying some quiet time...when they wake up, we will go and clean out, and wash, the car, and the mailbox. Yes, the mailbox...we live on the dirt road, and it gets filthy.
I may have resolved the bad word dilemma in our house. I got so mad this morning when Zachary started blurting them out, that I marched him outside, grabbed a water pail, and told him to go fill it up with rocks. Every bad word uttered gets me a full pail of rocks....I think that it might have sunk in...so far, we have had two buckets filled today. Cross your fingers...
I just finished reading the Gone with the Wind, and Scarlett books..they are a good Summertime read for anyone looking for a good read...
Michael has gone to look at yet another Jeep...he simply cannot wait to get his back together, so he has decided to buy one...the only problem is that what he really wants is his Jeep, and all others are POSs, so he does not want them. It must certainly be frustrating to be Mike.
I hope that all you Pool Floaters, Server Sweaters, Class Takers and Ditch Diggers are having a wonderful day today....Thanks to the webmaster for changing the email address...I must have been tired when I made that bonehead maneuver.
