    • Just a few notes on some new features that are either in place now or will be shortly...The tag clouds and tags within each blog entry have now been adjusted in how they work (slightly). Searching using a tag is exactly the same. However, it is now much clearer as to what tags are in use at any given time. When a particular tag is selected, it will be highlighted within the respective tag cloud as well as within the blogs. If no entries are currently selected, the"ALL" tag will be highlighted...

    • Just here to say hi.We had a pretty good day all around. Jeff was pretty tired (three hours of sleep last night, go figure) and Kadie's still coughing like a 60-year-old pack-a-day addict, but we're all plugging through. Kadie did a pretty good job today with potty training. We're getting there! My work has me going in three directions at once, but what's new? Jeff is bummin' it at the office - his boss is out this week so he's been showing up in jeans. Slacker!

    • Anyone else up for a little time off? I woke up this morning and heard our answering machine beeping. I was a bit surprised as I didn't hear the phone ring last night and I'm normally a very light sleeper. Exhaustion helps, I guess. Anyways, as I'm walking down the stairs I'm thinking,"Please let it be Tracy calling to say she can't take Kadie today." How pathetic is that?! Unfortunately, it wasn't Tracy and I was forced to get ready for work. So here I am - with no coffee as I've sworn off...

    • Well folks, we might actually make it. And end is in sight for the Bar Harbor House Saga. Despite the large number of requests from the potential purchasers, we managed to come to an agreeable compromise. The repairs will actually be performed a day after they officially own the house, but getting a licensed contractor on site within three days is actually somewhat of a miracle anyway. So they should still be pretty happy. We are scheduled to close tomorrow morning at 9am. Wish us luck!

    • Apparently there was a small bug in the code which caused everyone on the mailing list to get about 10 copies of the same message. Sorry about that. It's one of the splendors of building a new application. I've resolved the issue at this point, but if you'd still like to be removed from the list, just let me know and I'll disable your notifications. Just a bit more tweaking and I'll be ready to actually let you all give it a run for the money. I just want to make sure that most of the features...

    • Woo Hoo this is a lot easier than jogging. When i selected the blog tab it gives you choices of ways to search but when you make a choice nothing happens visually. It took a while to realize the info was down below. I was waiting for a new screen to appear. For us"Grandparents" it was a little confusing. Once I figured it out it works great. Have you sent ID's and passwords to the rest of the family? It really has helped my log in ability. Good news about your old house. Ooops I think I was...

    • We've finally unloaded that white elephant we will always remember, not so fondly, as our first home. We got a call last night (a little after 7) for us to be at the title company at 9 am the next morning, certified check in hand. Oh, crap! We've been saving up our money for closing (we actually had to pay the buyer's closing costs to get this thing off our hands) in Jeff's bank account in Texas. Everything we could think of to get the money here for us to get a certified check would take at...

    • Well now we are making progress. We picked just over 4 gallons of Marion berrys this morning. I was just informed we are one cup short for 12 pies. Guess I should have picked some red ones. I have been working with Peggy's mom in getting a better loan package for the 2nd house she is buying. We went thru ING for a 7year fixed which then changes to variable but by then things will probably change here first. It makes more sense for Sue & David to rent from her since they really can't afford...

    • Oh, and for those of you that I have not caught up with, I thought that I would let you know that Zachary's word of the week is"Bonehead." He also thought that Brianna should be up on all of his new vocabulary as well...last week the going phrase was"I am going to kick your -!" Dad says that that phrase goes well with Kadie's"wanna piece of me?" Sigh.

    • This blog stuff is fun...thank you Jeff! I will send some newer kid pics this weekend. I am going to make this a short note, since Brianna is sick tonight, and needs some extra assistance. Nothing much to say, except it is Friday, and thank goodness...now let all the weekend chores begin! Love to all. Lisa
