OK, I'm typing this on Word and HOPE I can transfer it to
the blog without loosing it somewhere in computer space.
Today is the first time I've read blogs since sometime
before Christmas. I was busy! Or Richard had the computer tied up when I
wasn't. Anyway, I'll try to remember all
the topics I found important.
1. HeatherDawn - To cut down on the stress, and lack of
Holiday Spirit, I know a home that is full of love and that could do with a few
more people next year. All you have to
do is be here - I'll decorate, cook,
etc. I'll even bake you fresh bread (everyday if you'll be here to eat
it.)
As far as the Santa gifts - Violet came to us believing in
Santa (not because your brother wanted it) and I agreed to carry on, but
limited his gifts to what would fit in a stocking on Christmas Eve. Everything else has a "to and from" sticker. Violet has been fine with it, although she
has become a little doubtful this year.
Did I miss something or did you say how Lost is doing?
2. Everyone else - keep your opinions on children to
yourself! We are still hopeful for at
least one more grandchild. Though I
would settle for seeing more of the ones we have. Violet seems more like our child than our
grandchild, we can't spoil her like we can the other grandchildren, at least she
doesn't think so. On the 1st,
I told her that she was old enough to start rinsing her dishes and putting them
in the dishwasher. By the time she
helped clear the table last night (Jan. 2nd), she asked, "Is this
going to be one of my jobs from now on?!?"
Well, again I got cut off before I had a chance to finish
this - can't remember now if there were any other issues to address, so I'll
just say -
Have a Happy and
Blessed New Year.
