It's amazing how much goes on in a few short days. Congratulations to old man Kjetil, but sorry no sympathy here.    I will guarantee that in 30 years your view of 35 will will seem much brighter.  Numbers will always be numbers but the attitude is where the age is.  Enjoy each moment as much as possible.  It's really all any of us have, so from my point of view you can be young and have wisdom as well.  Happy Birthday!
Congratulations to Lisa on the new job.  Just before we left she told me she was ready for a change of jobs.  Waal-laa, that didn't take too long.  Nice work, now drop the jitters and remember why all of this change is happening.  You created it just as you planned.  You are eminently qualified, you will be working with good people who unanimously like you (what's not to like) so relax and enjoy your creation.  Some sleep would probably help as well.
Moving on to the Diabetes issue.  Is there a standard test that is done with routine physicals? I have seen ads for blood sugar testing equipment that they say is painless, quick and easy.  Maybe painless for them I don't know, but much improved from the old system of sticking a fork into the end of your thumb to draw blood.  ( OK, maybe not a fork)
Jeff, have you received any of my emails before or after our trip?  Need your input on status of the new web site.  Also , what have you heard on the Chevy Duramax diesel?  Our neighbor bought 2 of them and really likes them.  Send me an email, please!
And now to the Bamboo Barron.  If there is a market then you will have a fortune if not it will become like Mom's Ivy going everywhere you don't want it.  We had a small variety at Lk Sawyer.  It's attractive but keeps sending up shoots in unwanted places.  I assume there are many varieties to choose from.  It would be an interesting though for our bank situation.  I wonder what the water requirements are.  Well that's all for now.  It's nice to be home again

Sleep I got.  I went to bed at eight last night, since I am going to try a new schedule...which means that I need to be up by four in the morning.  I have to admit that it will be nice having the same schedule each day...we might even get into a HABIT !

I've been in the habit of getting up at 3 am every day...and I wouldn't go so far as to call it "nice".

Amen to that.  In fact I wouldn't even consider it "day".  More like "yesterday" and not even close to nice
